Tending plants, people, and story in Appalachia

Welcome

I am grateful you are here

My name is Megan and I presently live in Southern Appalachia

I am a East-West Herbalist, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, Doula, Gardener, Permaculture Designer, Land Steward, Creative, Writer, Artist, Dreamer, Sister, Daughter, and Master’s candidate for Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I am devoted to being a bridge to the wisdom of the natural world. As an animist, I see my work in the world as guiding individuals back home to themselves through connection with the natural realm, myth, and seasonal rhythms. I am equally as passionate about tending to the soil, the seeds, and the tiniest parts of our ecosystems as I am to tending to our mind, body, and spirits. It is all interconnected.

Since I was very young, I have always been very sensitive to the energy around me and drawn to the wild for nourishment. Through my connection with nature, I have discovered the mind, body, and spirit medicine in all forms that she provides.

I am immensely grateful for my human, animal, plant, and fungi teachers near and far for being guiding lights on this heart-led path.
